The primary purpose of the Cashier is to manage the day-to-day flow of money transactions from customers in the service and parts department. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to use computer and money systems.

In this role, you'll:

  • Greet customers upon arrival
  • Handle incoming calls and set appointments, as needed.
  • Answer customers’ questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
  • Compute and record totals of transactions.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Communicate concerns to ASMs and Service Directors in a clear and effective manner.
  • Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards or automatic debits.
  • Responsible for filing service/customer paperwork and ensuring organization of files.
